June 2026 Castlereagh Boutique Hotel Luncheon

President Ken Byatt welcomed a great attendance of 44 members and gave a special welcome to new club member Greg Clarkson from Wollongong.
Nine members who had birthdays in May and June 2026 were present and to all members who celebrated birthdays in May and June, a big happy birthday from all.
Sadly, since our April luncheon, we lost a Life member and four Honorary members. Life member and long-term Club Secretary Reg Smeaton, Honorary Members  Robert (Bob) Riseborough,
Irene Norris, Earle Cochrane and Ron Freeman. One minute's silence was held in memory of these deceased officers. Club Member Sebastian Zammit presented a very emotional and detailed resume on the life and work history of our recently deceased and highly respected Life member and former long term Club Secretary Reg Smeaton. Sebastian's presentation and the details he provided on Reg’s life were greatly appreciated by members present at the luncheon and we thank him very much for his time and effort he put into it.
A very relaxing and enjoyable luncheon was enjoyed by members present.
